In need of some paw-fect weekend plans? See Spot Rescued’s adoptable dogs will be at Ed & Mary’s in the Hamilton Park neighborhood of Jersey City from 2-4PM on Sept. 26th, as a part of the bar’s annual (and hilariously cute) Pretty Puppy Pageant!
Not only will our adorable rescue pups be on site, but there will be a ton of other fun things happening:
🎨 Custom pet portraits — From 11AM-3PM at the bar, donate $15 to See Spot Rescued and you’ll receive a digital portrait of your pooch as well as a raffle ticket to put your dog in the running for Ed & Mary’s yearly dog calendar, sponsored by Lucky One Lemonade!
👑 Dog pageant — See which wonderful furry friend is crowned when the Pretty Puppy Pageant begins at 3pm!
🍺Delicious food and drinks — Enjoy some of Ed & Mary’s extensive beer selection, craft cocktails, and yummy American fare.

What to Know Before Attending:
Adoption applications: If you’re interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application in advance by clicking HERE! Only pre-registered applicants are eligible to take dogs home from events!
Who you’ll meet: Not all dogs in our rescue will be in attendance. Dogs present may vary based on temperament, environment, and availability.
Event environment: Adoption events can be busy and stimulating. Our team prioritizes each dog’s comfort and may take breaks as needed.
Volunteer-run: See Spot Rescued is 100% volunteer-run. We appreciate your patience as our team balances event support with dog care and conversations.
