All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped*, and if necessary are de-wormed and de-flead, prior to adoption. And in any case in which the dog faces serious illness, we have them fully treated at our own expense. Because they’re worth it.

*A microchip isn’t a GPS chip. But microchipping makes it possible for anyone who finds a stray or lost dog to take the animal to a vet where the chip is “scanned” in order to locate the owner’s address and contact information.

Little Women’s Beth March can picture herself in a forever home -- is there room in yours? Like the sister she was named after, Beth can be a bit shy at first, but she’ll warm up to you quickly. One-year-old Beth weighs about 30 lbs and is as sweet as the day is long. She gets along well with other dogs, so she’d love to have a canine sibling. Beth was part of the Dog Training at Prison program, where inmates spend 20 weeks learning how to care for their dogs and an additional 8 weeks working directly with canine companions. She’ll know up to 14 commands when she graduates. Come say hi to Beth March; she just may be the missing piece in your family portrait. Beth is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
